Annoyed Glinda
Glinda moved with Aislinn and Justin when they bought their house. I really miss her!! She has a great personality and she's just a sweetheart.
I stopped there tonight and annoyed her mercilessly in my pursuit of a photo of her!!!

She really wanted to come over for a pat, but I kept backing away so I could get a shot of her!!
Glinda
When she was a baby - notice she only has 3 legs. My daughter found her hiding under a car in a nearby city, she had been hit by a car and was only about 5-6 weeks old. Unfortunately the leg couldn't be saved, but she tears around like a maniac now!
Bubba
My mom's cat Bubba - He's watching the ducks, but keeping his distance... Also he is my cat's (Ginger) brother!!
Shadowy Dracula
Poor Drac! It was a slow photo opp weekend, soooo it was the cats and dogs or nothing!! I was sorely trying her patience here...
I'm sure she's thinking - "why, why, why won't she just open the *%$# door!!!!"
PS - I did finally open the door and let her out! :o)
Nicolas
At my Mom's for Thanksgiving, I was bothering her cats for a while.... And yes he was looking a bit annoyed that I scared off his prey when I was taking his photo!
A bit of background - Nicolas showed up at my Mom's house last year around Christmas time. Even though it's kind of trite, I suggested she name him Nicolas for old St. Nick. He's a really friendly cool cat, but he's rather a bully to her other kitties. Because she lives in a really rural area, most of her kitties get to go out during the day and she rounds them all up again each night to keep them safe.
People dump off their cats at the farm that's the next property through the woods from my Mom's house. Over the 20 years or so that she has lived there, she has either personally adopted or helped (with the assistance of her vet) find homes for at least 30 cats. None of these cats could possibly be considered feral and were clearly someones pets at one time. I'm am always amazed at how callous people are with their pets.

Homeless But Loved (Hailey) - Once Homeless
This is my beloved Hailey. I had rescued her 2 years ago. She was living in the back of my church. I caught her with my bare hands and she bit the hell out of my finger. I put her in my car and she hid under the dash. When I got home I reached under and grabbed her. She was total Feral and wild. When I got a hold of her she bit me again but I held her firmly. She is now living with me at home. She is an absolute darling. You can hold her and cuddle her like a baby. She and her sibling Samantha sleep with me all the time. After about 3 months of being afraid she is now my most Huggable and Lovable cat.

Blue Eyes loves to greet me each time I go there to feed the colony. He loves to walk around my feet and is always there. He doesn't wander very much.

I named these beautiful cats after you Viviana and for you Ilse. They never had names before. They live behind my church here in Philadelphia and as you can see they are well looked after. The Cat House in the back was put there by Lucile and her son John who both help me with the Feral cats in the neighborhood. I've been coming here for three years now and have lost many cats but we do our best to help them. I personalty want to thank all my friends here at flickr and especially to all of you who wrote the nicest things about my babies. Thanks to all of you. You are the nicest bunch of friends in the world.......I love you all!!!!!......Yanni
Homeless But Loved (Pepper)
This is Pepper. When I get there, and he sees me, he loves to watch me as I feed the other cats. He walks around and stops and stares. He is so beautiful and he takes care of himself. I never see him eat with the others.......but he's always the first one to great me together with (Mom).
Homeless But Loved (Lucy)
This is one of my many Feral friends that I feed and take care of for the past two years. There are about 30 cats that I look after. I also have 12 house cats and two dogs that live in my house. These poor darlings have to cope with the brutal winter and live in colonies with other cats. They are my best friends and give back so much love and affection. Many have died and have been lost and it's very heartbreaking but I do my best to help them in anyway I can. To me they are someone who, listens with their heart, speaks with a look, and teaches with love. Bless them all.
Cat under the cherry blossoms 1
This is one of my favorite temple cats. When I was trying to shoot a bee on the cherry blossoms, she came to me and meowed several times begging for some nice tickling.
Ignored, she decided to jump up on the fence and proved to be a better model than a bee（^ワ^）.

This is another of my favorite temple cat. When I was trying to take a photo of mejiro on the cherry tree, she was there. Next moment she jumped up on the tree and the bird of course flew away. I don't think she was seriously aiming on the bird. Looks like she just enjoyed surprising it（^ワ^）.
